AML/CFT Questionnaire
Why this questionnaire exists
This questionnaire is exclusive to CHAM BANK and forms part of the enhanced due diligence applied to correspondent banks and financial institutions, in connection with the procedures adopted by the compliance control department. We would appreciate your completing the attached questionnaire and providing us with the required documents.
About us: CHAM BANK was established as a private joint-stock company on 7 September 2006 with a capital of 5 billion Syrian pounds and commercial registration number 14809. The capital was increased in several stages by a total of 35 billion Syrian pounds, bringing it to 40 billion Syrian pounds. CHAM BANK is the first Islamic bank in Syria to adopt the principles of Islamic Sharia; its operations and activities are supervised by the Central Bank of Syria and by the Sharia Supervisory Board.
